VOX x CODE CONFERENCE 2022



︎ Vox Media reached out to us to help creative direct, ideate and fabricate for their annual Code Conference 2022. We worked in tandem with the internal Vox Design team to develop high-design experiences throughout the three day conference in Los Angeles. In addition we consulted on materials, finishes and execution for signage, sponsored activations and a wild pool-side tasting party by Eater.

SEPHORA PLAYGROUND 2022



︎ We re-connected with one of our favorite clients to help creative direct, consult, ideate and fabricate for the annual Sephora Festival in San Francisco. The event took place in the old Hibernia bank close to city hall. We took the playground theme and developed stage designs, entrance arches, interactive photo moments, beauty parlors and sponsored activations. We worked with a colorful design palette to develop distinct party areas including a black light beauty room and photo-studio, an interactive champagne wall, a gifting wheel plus much more.

AIRBNB x BAD BUNNY



︎ Working with our friends and partners at Verb Agency we were tasked with developing creative and interior design for a 40’ x 8’ shipping container for the world’s biggest pop-star: Bad Bunny. Combining elements from his music videos, his Puerto Rican heritage, and a liveable space we transformed the bare container into an Airbnb guest experience in Miami complete with photo moments, hospitality and entertainment.

PLEASING x COACHELLA




︎ We were delighted to work with the dream team of agencies My Beautiful City and Sun-ny Side Up to realize Harry Styles pop-up manicure activation at Coachella 2022 for his nail brand ‘Pleasing’. Working with the creative teams at both agencies we helped to develop and then build a 40’ x 20’ dreamlike activation space with oversized black light mushrooms, a custom manicure nail bar and merch display all wrapped in otherworldly prints and graphics. AV, hospitality and production support were provided by our partners at Vox.

EXPERIETNIAL POP-UP EXHIBITION
INSTAGRAM x IN LIVING COLOR



︎ We worked with agencies My Beautiful City and Sun-ny Side Up to fabricate an immense art maze made for Instagram’s ‘In Living Color’ exhibition. Featuring work from black artists celebrating Black History Month and Black Culture the one night event was located at City Market Social House with Vox agency providing best of class AV and production support. We created an insane 100 double sided wall flats with peak-a-boo windows, half walls and overhead beams within a two week period using an innovative cleat technique to help insure install within a 12 hours timeframe. The end maze contained portrait artwork by Alim Smith, a stand-up comedy stage, and an audio visual exhibition area.

HOME ALONE x AIRBNB



︎ Merry Christmas ya Filthy Animals! We had the distinct pleasure of working with Verb agency to bring the immersive Home Alone experience to life in Winnetka, Chicago. We developed the original McCalister house into a content and guest stay experience by completely transforming the house into a direct recreation of the classic movie. Custom wallpaper, original vintage touches, deep-dish pizza and a Christmas in Chicago. Featured in press worldwide.

SEX AND THE CITY x AIRBNB




︎ Verb agency tasked us with developing the interior design and overall aesthetics of Airbnb’s OOA: Sex and the City project in New York. We were challenged with transforming an upscale brownstone apartment in Chelsea into an updated recreation of Carrie Bradshaw’s iconic apartment from the show. We identified and sourced key vintage furniture pieces for modification, re-developed the walk-in closet area, painted the experiential area and built out the set and props to match show stills. And just like that, Sarah Jessica Parker hosted an guest experience for a number of lucky participants.

BRADY WALKER’S CARNIVAL OF SPEED




︎ We worked with our longtime friend Brady Walker to develop branding, brand guidelines, promotional materials, illustrations and social media tiles for his new motorcycle festival ‘Carnival of Speed’ at Willow Spring’s Raceway. Taking hints from classic Americana, motorcycle culture and stylised illustration we generated materials and social media support for the event.

︎ We were brought in to offer creative consultation and direction for Mirrorball agency to help ideate on a high-level immersive experience for Viacom’s internal research division. We developed three distinct directions that explore the data driven research and insights created around Gen-Z.

SCREAM x AIRBNB




︎ We worked with our favorite agency Verb to develop an immersive interior and exterior design project to recreate the iconic Scream house from the movie franchise in Tomales, CA. We sourced period correct furniture, fabricated a stain glass window, and overhauled a 1983 Ford Econoline with 6 News decals and paintjob. Hosted by David Arquette the house was used for content production and guest stays.

CONFERENCE BOOTH DESIGN
BEAM SUNTORY x NACS



︎ We worked closely with AVO Collective to develop a creative booth solution for the NACS conference in Chicago. Taking inspiration from Beam’s new spring/summer line up of drinks we created an indoor/outdoor booth in a tight 10’ x 20’ space complete with service bar, roof, outdoor backdrop and hidden equipment.

SANTEVINO WINES




︎ We had previously worked with Blue Zone Wines on the development of their wine labels and packaging. The exercise was so successful that the owners ended up selling the brand to an investment group. They came back to us with a new wine concept called Santevino that needed a ground up branding, packaging, and delivery consultation. We worked with classical wine colors and blended this with a modern execution to create the new product range.

SAYSH x ALLYSON FELIX




︎ We worked with commercial director Brent Barbano to develop a treatment for new athleisure brand Saysh and their collaboration with olympian Allyson Felix. Working closely with Brent we helped define the visual look and feel of the commercial and photoshoot that tells the personal narrative of Felix and her development of her own olympic running shoes for Tokyo 2020.

LUCKY BRAND x SAVE OUR STAGES




︎ We partnered with Lucky Brand and Save Our Stages to develop a program of live stream performances during the pandemic. We worked with legendary desert venue Pappy + Harriet’s to showcase three new musical acts and conducted interviews, photography shoots, and a live stream performance video in collaboration with the Los Angeles denim brand. The project included development of storyboard narratives, shoot planning, prop and environment design, logistics planning and execution, photography and video.

SHEIN



︎ What do you do when one of the worlds largest fast fashion companies wants to execute the first leg of a retail tour and they only have a month to execute? You work. A lot.

We were tasked with developing the overall aesthetic of Shein’s 2021 Pop Up Tour through digital and printed brand guidelines. From there we renovated an empty (and mostly destroyed) vacant 4000sq ft unit in Tempe Marketplace within a week to build out a one of a kind retail design experience including custom built changing rooms, retail display walls, visual merchandising, custom furniture, large format graphics, interactive elements and overall interior design.

︎We created a two month long usable stay at the original Fresh Prince of Bel Air mansion in Beverly Hills. In collaboration with Will Smith, Westbrook Productions, AIRBNB and Verb Agency we developed a modern updated take on the classic 90’s tv show. Highlights include a faux graffiti wall, custom build 1920’s Roccoco bedframe, games room and pool.

︎We created a stay over new years eve at the iconic Nasdaq building in Times Square, New York in collaboration with Mariah Carey. The event developed a Nasdaq penthouse office space into a modern New York penthouse apartment complete with exterior firework viewing dome, champaign reception, a dining experience and two bedrooms.

EQUINOX x GRAMMYS



︎Design and creation of oversized light up speakers for Equinox’s grammys party. Each speaker lights up individually and is supplimented with painted prop mini-speaker sets to serve as a social photo moment.

︎In the run up to Chrismtas 2020 we developed a unique experience in the headquarters of legendary toy store FAO Schwarz in Rockafella Plaza. We turned the store into an overnight stay with two bedrooms, bathroom, lounge, dining room and Rockafella Tree viewing area. Highlights include custom built beds, fireplace installation, and dining experience.

︎Creation of a photobooth set for Lucky Brand’s grammys take-over of LA’s iconic Roxy. The outdoor set acted as a green-room backdrop for the event allowing attendees to capture photos of themselves in a ‘faux’ backstage greenroom area.

︎In collaboraiton with Olympic legend Scottie Pippen we staged his Chicago mansion that is currently listed for sale. We developed a number of rooms into a modern, chic, bachelor aesthetic that includes a cigar bar, basketball wall, trophy case, sauna, and indoor basketball court.

︎We worked with Big Sky Resort and Everetts 8800 to turn their mountain top restaurant into a livable cabin experience. This included a master bedroom, dining room, activity area, and outdoor fireplace. The furniture and decor were locally sourced and transported up Big Sky Mountain in the back of a cargo Snow-Cat.
