Visit Britain ‘Britflix Express’
Concept Development, Creative Direction, Set & Prop Design, Fabrication & Installation
Vox and Visit Britain came to PBZ with a starting point: a British train journey. From there, we created Britflix Express, a five-zone experience introducing visitors to some of Britain’s less familiar places through cultural references, scenic storytelling, and live programming.
PBZ led concept development and creative direction, designed the environments and props, worked through the venue’s considerable technical restrictions, then fabricated and installed the entire experience in 36 hours. Vox secured the talent and managed the live production on site.
The journey moved through an English railway station and newsagent, a Scottish castle with a hidden door, a northern street with a working bar and record shop, a Welsh forest and wishing well, and an English high street with a functioning bakery.
A slightly unreasonable amount of Britain, built in a day and a half.
